Rosalia Vila also known as Rosalia (Spanish meaning "Rosalia") is an Spanish Pop and Flamenco Singer. Since her teenage years, Rosalia Vila has been a participant in pop music as well as flamenco. Her music also strays into different genres such as hip-hop soul and Trap. Pepe Habichuela, a flamenco guitar player of great talent, described her voice by saying it was sweet and had an old-fashioned bite. El Mal Querer gained her critical acclaim and commercial success following her debut album Los Angeles was released in 2017. The album earned an award from the Latin Grammy Award for Best New Artist. La Fama featuring Weeknd debuted in 2021. Motomami is her 3rd full-length album. It featured collaborations on songwriting with other musicians and producers, such as Cory Henry. This set was released on March 20, 2022 following the Saturday Night Live performance featuring the song Chicken Teriyaki. Rosalia is the very first Spanish singer to perform solo on the show. Motomami was her album which was awarded three Latin Grammy Awards also made Rosalia the first female singer to have an award for Latin Album of the Year win twice.
