Christopher Robert Evans, born on June 13, 1981 is an American actress. His career began playing roles in television shows such as Opposite Sexual Sex in the year 2000. Following appearances in several film for teens, such as 2001's Not Another Teen Movie he was noticed for his performance of Marvel Comics characters such as the Human Torch in 2005's Fantastic Four and the sequel Fantastic Four: Rise of the Silver Surfer (2007). Evans was featured in a variety of films that adapted comics and graphic novels including TMNT (2007) Scott Pilgrim and the World vs. the World (2009) as well as Snowpiercer (2013). In the Marvel Cinematic Universe, he gained more recognition for his role as Steve Rogers/Captain American. The films included Captain America: The First Captain America: The Winter Soldier 2014 as well as Captain America: Civil War. Evans also made an appearance in The Avengers Age of Ultron in 2015 Avengers: Infinity War 2018 and Endgame 2019. Within the Marvel Universe, his character as Captain Steve Rogers and Captain America earned him the title of most highly paid actor in the world.
